The shuk is where I spent my childhood, where I learned every trick in the book. Back then Jerusalem was a melting pot, I grew up with every denomination, we shared the city, we spoke each other's languages, we ate each other's foods. Jokes in the streets and warm food, there is no dividing Jerusalem from that.
Susan and I ran Dizengoff for 25 years with great pride. We took a break for many different reasons but it served a lifetime of joy. We cherished every moment with your families, seeing your kids grow, being part of your simchas. We've missed you!
So here we are, back, but this time home in Machne Yehuda, we came the long way round, via Dizengoff!
